Our main mix down "deck" is the Alesis Masterlink 9600. This unit is the absolute latest in mix down technology and will eventually replace the DAT as the mainstay of recording studios everywhere. It has a self contained internal 20-gigabyte hard disk recorder designed especially for studio mixing. It can be run at a wide variety of sample rates and bit depths, after which files can be stored as either AIFF files, audio CD’s, or more importantly be sent digitally directly to our mastering suite via our M-Audio Delta 1010 interface.

If for some reason you still need your mix put onto a DAT tape we have a Panasonic SV-3800 DAT, which still continues to be the industry standard for DAT recorders.

For mastering we run the Waves Gold mastering bundle via the latest Sound Forge software. The Waves plug-ins provide us with the identical two-track mastering capabilities of any current available format including Pro Tools.
